While getting ready for Alec’s Senior Portrait Session on September 10th of this year (2017) I was relieved that the weather was holding out for us. Let us be completely honest here. Most guys get their senior pictures done to make their Mama’s happy. I get it, I’ve got a teenage brother and the last thing he wants to do is hang out in front of my camera for any length of time. But I also know how sons love their moms in a way that’s different than daughters. So anytime I get a Senior guy on my calendar I make sure our session time is short, sweet and FUN! I met this Central Dauphin high school senior, Alec at my home studio in Camp Hill Pa in the early evening right before sunset. Early Septembers in Central PA can be a roll of the dice with outdoor sessions, but we lucked out with a great day. We started the session in downtown Camp Hill, PA at this little gem of a spot I know that has a really nice painted brick wall and ventured out from there. Alec was a lot of fun to work with.
Honestly I love finding new places to photograph. Usually I find them randomly while walking my dog in the neighborhood or while driving home from the store one day. I’m constantly on the lookout for the next best spot to use for my sessions. These next images were taken right down the street from where I live in Camp Hill, PA in my neighborhood. Alec really loves the outdoors and he also loves to fish. When we were walking around by the creek I overheard him plotting his next fishing venture with his mom. Alec really was a pleasure to work with and he has this cute little smile along with his piercing green eyes that i’m sure melts all the girls hearts! The last spot we landed for Alec’s Senior Portrait Session was down the road at Seibert Park in Camp Hill, Pa. The lighting was perfect for the last few portraits.
