Baby Graham’s Newborn Photos

Baby Graham’s newborn photos happened quicker then expected!  This little guy couldn’t wait to meet his Mommy & Daddy!  With an original due date of June 1st little Graham came into this world a few days early on May 25th at the Harrisburg Hospital.  I couldn’t wait to meet him either so when Mom & Dad contacted me to inform me of his early arrival I was ready!

Photo Session

For baby Graham’s newborn photos we customized every detail at an in person consultation.  Mom & Dad really wanted to go with blues and creams and whites since his nursery theme was Nautical and they love whales.  I kept it pretty simple with the props and neutral colors.

What about my photos?

One of the things I hear the most from clients is “I have no idea what to do with these photos!” or “I don’t know how to display portraits!” When you choose Tisha Landrum Photography for your custom newborn photographer, you are not only going to receive beautiful, timeless images to choose from; but you will receive my customized services to help you design wall galleries, albums, gallery wraps, etc.

Printed Products

Probably my favorite offering in our products line is the genuine Leather Albums and Heritage Wood Prints. The heritage wood print is a linen finished print mounted on a piece beveled wood. They are ready-to-hang and do not require any further treatment such as matting or framing. The main reason I love them is because it allows my Harrisburg and Camp Hill families to easily combine both vertical and horizontal newborn portraits into one grouping. It also allows them to combine images from several poses into one display. The symmetry of the heritage wood groupings create a cohesive focal piece for the any room, even with different backgrounds, seasons and clothing mixed together. Finally, the nature of the Custom Printing and Wall Design, makes it easy to add images around it as your family grows.

Deciding On The Right Photographer

You’ve decided you want a professional photographer to photograph your newborn baby soon after they’re born in order to capture those super sleepy and snuggly moments, Yay!. Here’s the fun part… figuring out which photographer to hire! I should tell you that I’m 100% bias here (of course you should hire me, your fave Camp Hill newborn photographer), but I want to give you a few pointers on things to look for when Googling.

Tip #1 – Check their style. Are you looking for a posed studio session or a lifestyle session in your home? Each session is completely different; posed studio sessions are focused on sleepy baby’s in various poses, where the baby is often naked as well as using a variety of wraps, blankets, textures and props when the baby is 6-14 days old . Lifestyle sessions are done in your home, capturing life with your new baby; snuggling on the couch, your bed and even the nursery. Since there is no baby posing done, the baby can be asleep or awake and don’t necessarily need to be done within the first 2 weeks. So be sure that you like the style that you see in the Camp Hill newborn photographer’s portfolio prior to even attempting to connect with them.

Tip #2 – Gauge the quality. Not only of the photos you’ll be receiving, but the products they offer and of course, the props they use. Some photographers come to your home while others invite you to their studios. Either way, you’ll want to be sure that anything on or around your precious newborn baby has been kept clean and safe from any potential hazards. If your child has any type of allergies or intolerances, be sure to share this with your photographer prior to the session. You may not know about these things until they’re actually born, but a quick heads up when you confirm the date and time of your appointment will allow your Harrisburg, PA area newborn photographer to prepare accordingly in order to properly accommodate your child’s needs.

Tip #3 – Be safe. Safety first! Newborn photography is very specialized and you want to be sure that your baby is in the best hands. Make sure your photographer has had training and knows how to keep your baby safe. Many popular newborn poses are actually composites of several photos. Babies should never be suspended or left unattended. Whatever your goals are for the final images, be sure that they match your photographer’s ability to achieve them. If you’re looking for a professional newborn photographer near Camp Hill, Pennsylvania you’ve come to the right place!
