Grace’s Senior Portrait Session

During Grace’s senior portrait session I found myself looking back at all the years I’ve gotten to know her.  Grace started helping me out here and there with my business when she was 14 years old.   I truly have no idea where the time went because in my eyes she’s still that young sweet impressionable 14 year old… But as I look through these images I realize that this is grace’s senior portrait session… she’s about to become an adult, decide on where to go to college, branch out on her own and start her life!Grace's Outdoor Senior Portrait Session Lemon Dress Camp Hill Senior Portrait Photographer Lavender  I just hope that her time with me was as special to her as it was to me.  Grace, I wish you all the best in whatever your bright future may hold.

I always get asked this question by clients when they call to book senior portrait sessions. Where will we be shooting at? Location is important to clients and I usually like to get a sense of what the senior prefers and then select locations based on that. Urban, rural, natural, rustic, big city, farm.. there are so many options. Then once on location I try to go through outfits and select based on what backdrop we will be against. Typically clients bring outfits based on their style which also matches their choice for locations. Seniors that select urban city type environments bring more edgy, modern looking outfits. Floral backgrounds go well with flowy, casual type outfits. So when trying to pick outfits, keep in mind what overall look and feel we are going for. Styling your hair/makeup is the one area I do not recommend experimenting too much at your senior session. Hair and makeup can change the way you look and you do not want to deviate from your own style too much.
