Granddaddy’s 83rd Birthday was yesterday (September 20th), Dad’s 61st birthday is today (September 21st), and my son Ethan’s 1st birthday is Friday (September 22nd). Needless to say we have quite a fun week and weekend planned! My Grandparents, Ladoris & Ray, drove all the way here from Jarrell Texas last Thursday and my cousin Lyric flew in Tuesday so we could all spend time together celebrating all these awesome men in our lives. If there’s one thing you know about me I love parties so 3 in a row is like the ultimate excitement for me eeek!! Last night we celebrated Granddaddy’s birthday. There were just a few us there with a simple dinner and of course my beautiful & talented cousin Lyric made the most scrumptious carrot cake I’ve ever had for our grandfather. Lyric is the proud owner of her company L.A. Cakes located in Round Rock, TX. I wish we lived closer because I would love to reap the benefits of her awesome cake making skills more often!
